-On April 21, 2008, Lois Grandi was given a special achievement award by the Bay Area Critic’s Circle for her thirteen years of creating excellent theatre at Playhouse West. This is her fifth Bay Area Critic’s Circle award for her contributions to the theatre: producing, directing and acting.- Voted Best Small Theatre Company in the East Bay by Diablo Magazine readers, 2002, 2004, 2005
